Adventist Medical Action of Bolivia is part of the AMA International family with projects in various different countries of the world, offering hope to many needy people.
The purpose of AMA Bolivia is to provide medical and spiritual attention to needy people, regardless of race, political or religious affiliation etc, focusing our priorities on the poorest areas of Bolivia.
Depending on the availability of volunteers, (long term or short term) which comprises our entire staff body, we organize medical aid groups in different communities in response to requests for our help. Serious cases are evacuated to Santa Cruz, where they are assisted in receiving proper medical treatment, and efforts are made to cover their medical costs. All help is free of charge, offered with the sole purpose of caring for the poor and needy, following the mandate and example of our Lord Jesus.
